Weddings at Bisham Abbey

Bisham Abbey is situated within its own 43 acre grounds, just one mile from stunning Marlow on the banks of the River Thames. The venue has such a variety of facilities on offer – from a picturesque historic Abbey, large outdoor space for marquees and outdoor events as well as modern sports facilities for that can accommodate any number of team build activities. As a National Sports Centre they also have a fantastic range of sporting facilities available including: 9 hole Golf course (par 3), 3 grass pitches, 5-a-side, Astro turf and training D’s, 4 Outdoor tennis courts, 3 Clay, 4 Indoor tennis courts, Badminton, Squash, 90 station gym, sports hall (judo hall), Full fitness class timetable. They also have some basic accommodate onsite.

Bisham Abbey has a beautiful Great Hall is a historic space ideal for receptions, weddings and dinners for up to 120 guests. There are then a collection of smaller meeting rooms that are beautifully maintained. The lawn reaches down to the river and can be used for a marquee for larger events, for BBQ’s or for team build activities. You can even use the football pitches for a game of five-a-side which have been used by the England team for training. They have also hosted events using the river which is at the bottom of the lawn – raft building and crossing the river or something more sedate like a pre-dinner boat cruise along the Thames! There is also a very large sports hall which, because it is a blank space, can be themed and used for any event that you can imagine!
